Description: You will be the Engineering & Technology Manager (ETM) for the Advanced Threat Warning Systems (ATWS) Production Hardware Engineering Integrated Product Team (IPT). Our team drives the transition of ATWS hardwareu2014EO/IR sensors, window assemblies, and electronic processorsu2014into production and sustainment, guaranteeing the highest performance and reliability for LockheedMartin Missiles & Fire Control. What You Will Be Doing As the ETM&IPT Lead, you will own the cost, schedule, and technical planning for ATWS production while managing risk, opportunities, and all customer/supplier interfaces. Youu2019ll set technical direction, enforce best in class processes, and champion the professional growth of a cross disciplinary engineering team, keeping the program ahead of expectations in a fast paced, collaborative environment. Your responsibilities will include: u2022Direct cost, schedule, and technical planning for ATWS production efforts. u2022Partner with Production Operations and ATWS Development Engineering IPTs to smoothly transition products into production. u2022Lead investigation teams, diagnose technical anomalies, and deliver clear, actionable reports. u2022Develop accurate Basis of Estimates (BOEs) to support new business proposals. u2022Drive rapid resolution of production and sustainment issues to maintain steady workflow. u2022Provide engineering support across multiple manufacturing facilities, synchronizing standards and practices. u2022Expand the teamu2019s technical capability through gap assessments, training plans, and knowledge transfer initiatives. u2022Manage employee development, performance reviews, and salary planning to build a high performing, motivated workforce. Further Information About This Opportunity: This position is in Orlando, FL. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess a Final Secret clearance. Basic Qualifications: Bacheloru2019s degree in mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering is required with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Experience in mechanical design for both development and production phases in aerospace or a similar industry is required. Project lead experience is required. Demonstrated interpersonal skills and teamwork with internal teams and external customers. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including diplomatic issue resolution, is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required. Experience with Computer Aided Design (PTC CREO or Solidworks preferred) US citizenship required. Desired Skills: Experience resolving schedule conflicts and complex technical challenges requiring integration with cross-functional teams. Control Account Manager (CAM) experience. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt training. Experience with 3D Technical Data Packages in accordance with MIL-STD-31000 or ASME Y14.41. Experience with creating engineering drawings and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles. Previous Material Review Board (MRB) and Failure Review Board (FRB) experience in a production setting. Participation with Configuration Control Board (CCB) in a production setting. Familiarity with the transition from development to production, including the resolution of design issues and optimization for mass production. Experience creating cost and schedule projections or Basis of Estimates (BOE). Previous precision mechanical or opto-mechanical experience. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
