Reference #: 4402RK&K Construction Management Team is currently hiring an Inspector with water/wastewater construction experience in the King of Prussia and Philadelphia, PA areas. RK&K also hires those with related experiences such as contractor, military, and surveyor experience.Essential FunctionAs a construction inspector in RK&K's Construction/CEI division you will perform complex and routine inspections of construction to evaluate if appropriate materials and construction processes are being used; and that construction conforms to plans, specifications, and special provisionsReview drawings to prepare for the inspection and understand the design of the construction that will be inspectedCreate daily reports, document the results of the inspection, and maintain organized, detailed, and up to date field filesAdminister and implement the quality assurance/quality control programs of the client and/or contractConduct field measurements to establish quantities for pay item documentation as well as other contract administration documentationRequired Skills and ExperienceHigh School diploma or equivalentPrior experience in the construction, inspection, operation, or design of water/wastewater and Green Stormwater Infrastructure (GSI) projectsAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsExcellent communication skillsStrong record keeping abilityAbility to use an electronic tablet, computer and Microsoft Office productsValid driver's license and acceptable driving recordAbility to pass Criminal History Background Check (CHBC)Willingness to work occasional nights and weekends as required by the projectOther DutiesThis job description indicates the general nature and levels of work, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other essential functions (as covered under ADA).
