As a Technician - Securityu00a0with Bosch Building Technologies North America, you will collaboratively review, understand, analyze, and implement installation blueprints and plans from Project Managers and Sales Teams to complete installations.u00a0 This role requires the ability and knowhow to properly complete the installation, understand and follow the BOM, and be capable ofmaking adjustmentsor finding alternative solutions as needed to complete installations to client satisfaction.u00a0 RESPONSIBILITIES:u00a0 + Installing and servicing electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV and intrusion alarmsu00a0 + Pre-wiring, installing, programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenanceu00a0 + Prepares and executes Acceptance Testing Plans that meet contract, client and future service needsu00a0 + Assist in system designand layoutu00a0 + Provide customer with training for proper system usage, and respond to technical inquiriesu00a0 + Relationship building with clients and prospects for future opportunitiesu00a0 + Administrative duties including project updates to Project Managers, completing and filing all project documentationu00a0 + Support, lead, and mentor team members u00a0u00a0 + Design systems and layoutu00a0 + Maintain a high level of safety and professionalismu00a0u00a0 + Lead projects at a site level, manage a team of junior technicians as necessaryu00a0u00a0 + Work at required heights utilizing ladders, scaffolding, lifts, or other. + Work in confined spaces as necessary. + Perform other tasks as requiredu00a0 SUCCESS FACTORS + Adaptability: Quickly adapt to deliver on desired outcomes for our clients + Accountability: Own your work from start to finish u00a0 + Service Orientation: Strive to exceed customer expectations + Innovation: Always look for new ways to add value + Technical knowledge: constantly build your skill set and demonstrate your abilities REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:u00a0 + PLT Certification requiredu00a0 + 1u00a0+ years prior experience in a technical role within the Security Systems Integration industryu00a0 + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + ValidDriveru2019s License with clean abstractu00a0 + Ability to use hand and specialty tools associated with the industryu00a0 + Ability to lift 50lbs consistentlyu00a0 + Able to work independentlyu00a0 + Strong interpersonal skills PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:u00a0 + Postsecondary training in electronics or equivalent is considered an assetu00a0 + Vendor Certification in low voltage systems is preferredu00a0 PHYSICAL DEMANDS:u00a0In general, the following physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. + While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, climb, walk, sit, push, pull, squat, crawl, and stoop.
