You areConfident in your technical capabilities, willing to continue learning new technologies as mission needs are dynamic, and a desire to live in Colorado Springs, CO to work side-by-side with government counterparts on small agile teams to ensure our countries' space assets are safe & mission effective.You willProvide engineering and analytics support to the United States Space Force's Orbital Test and Training Infrastructure (OTTI) division.u00a0Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:u00b7u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0Engineering decomposition of test/training requirements and scenarios into model requirementsu00b7u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0Coordinate with the intelligence community and Federally Funded Research and Development Center for the development of threat models/datau00b7u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0Draft and coordinate model standards with the customersu00b7u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0Advise US Special Programs Office and the Intelligence community on modeling and simulation standards and developmentu00b7u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0Manage model status and development and report on status and limitations.You have- Strong background in Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical engineering, math and/or physics.- Strong knowledge of programming and modeling & simulation languages and environments (Simulink, AFSIM, Python, C++, etc)- Engineering and technical knowledge of space systems- Experience with US Space Force (USSF) or Department of War (DoW) mission operations (desired)- Experience with DoW requirements and system development (desired)- Current TS/SCI Clearance- The ideal candidate will have 3-10 years of experience
