MAINTENANCE MECHANIC Permanent (Full-Time) - Day Shift Full Benefits Offered - Health, Dental, Life, 403B/Roth (with employer match pending hours requirement, Paid Time Off, Vacation, Holidays Job Duties & Responsibilities: + Refill Rock Salt containers, spread salt as needed + Responsible for snow shoveling; running snowblower, keeping all walkways clear + Requires assistance with snow removal as needed + Lawn maintenance, grounds maintenance + Must have a valid NYS Driver's License to run equipment + May require overtime hours due to weather events + Works on projects in order of priority - check board + Answers maintenance calls throughout the day + Maintains equipment & tools daily, routinely & seasonably + Helps with special projects as needed + Performs minor maintenance & repairs to building & property + Repair building cracks; interior & exterior + Any additional jobs/projects that become a priority + Taking calls from Johnson Controls as needed; you are used as the second maintenance number to contact + Coming in on off-hours when needed (will be compensated) + Filling in for Supervisor of Building & Grounds when he is out of the building + Assists with special projects & building improvements + Runs errands, Home Depot, deliver equipment for repairs, pick up gas, etc. + Assists with Cafeteria garbage & final daily cleaning + Assists Supervisor with ordering/creating PO's + Additional responsibilities as needed + Painting as needed PAY RANGE DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE: $18 - $22 / Hour High School Graduate or GED, must have reliable Transportation Mandatory Overtime during inclement weather conditions (will be compensated) Full time, Full Benefits Including Health, Dental, Life, 403B/Roth with employer matching contribution.
