Essential Responsibilities Patient Assistance Provide personal careto the patient in a compassionate and understanding manner consistentwith hospice philosophy while respecting dignity and rights of thepatient. Under the written and/or verbal direction of the RN, theHospice Aide may perform the following duties: o Provide personal caresuch as, but not limited to, a bed bath, shower or tub bath, oral care,skin and foot care. o Provide good body alignment, positioning, andrange of motion exercises for non-ambulatory patients. o Assist withroutine foley catheter care and empties collection device. o Obtainvital signs. o Provide respite care while primary caregiver is absent. oProvides adjunct care such as enemas, and dressing changes perdelegation from RN. o Recognizes changes in patient's condition andreports to RN. o Perform light housekeeping and other duties asdetermined by patient/family or as assigned by a registered nurse. oProvide a clean, safe and healthy environment for patients, utilizinginfection control measures appropriately. Note: Never performsprocedures and treatments not qualified to perform. AttendInterdisciplinary Group (IDG) meetings and participate in care planningfor assigned patients. Consult with registered nurse to obtaininstructions and supervision as necessary. Remain current on allrelevant rules and regulations. Administrative Support Provideoffice/administrative support as needed. Attend staff and mandatoryin-services meetings. Experience and/or Education Required CurrentCertified Nursing Assistant certificate Valid driver's license,acceptable driving record, and automobile liability coverage or accessto an insured vehicle CPR certification at hire or within 6 months inposition Experience working with electronic medical records Preferred Previous work experience in hospice, home health or long-term careand/or completion of a comprehensive hospice training program Experience in an office-based setting including clerical and computerwork Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required Housecall Providers is anequal opportunity employer ' Develop advanced databases to meetapplication and web needs. ' Developand maintain appropriate technology documentation, including currentdesign and operation. Standards and Policy Administration ' Author andserve as subject matter expert to define requirements, standards andbest practices for database and ETL development (as well as EDIsoftware/development for EDI-focused roles). ' Monitor and continuallyreview existing systems to ensure they are designed to comply withestablished standards and to empower business operations. VendorCoordination and Relations ' Conduct product and vendor research, andpresent recommendations to lead developer and/or management. 'Establish and manage effective relations with vendors and relatedequipment suppliers, including installation and repair of services.Experience and/or Education Required ' Minimum 5 years' experience in
