General Liability Attorney

Description We are looking for a dedicated Associate Attorney specializing in general liability to join our team in San Francisco, California. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment while managing diverse litigation cases. Responsibilities: u2022 Represent clients in a variety of general liability cases, ensuring thorough and strategic defense. u2022 Investigate claims, analyze liability and damages, and devise effective case strategies. u2022 Conduct legal research and draft detailed motions, pleadings, memos, and correspondence. u2022 Prepare and respond to discovery requests, as well as manage depositions effectively. u2022 Advocate for clients during court appearances, hearings, mediations, and trials/arbitrations. u2022 Maintain clear communication with partners, clients, opposing counsel, and team members. u2022 Manage 1850 billable hours while upholding quality and efficiency. u2022 Collaborate with colleagues to ensure comprehensive case preparation and execution. Requirements u2022 Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. u2022 Active membership with the California State Bar, in good standing. u2022 Minimum of 2 years of experience in general liability and/or liability litigation requiring attention to detail. u2022 Strong legal drafting skills with a keen eye for detail. u2022 Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to present arguments effectively. u2022 Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team setting. u2022 Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. u2022 Familiarity with state and federal legal procedures; trial experience is a plus.
