As experts in healthcare IT experts, Apex is committed to building systems for healthcare organizations to seamlessly communicate and exchange data across different systems and devices.Summary:The Medical Materiel Specialist I shall include, but are not limited to general warehousing tasks, customer support, requisition, shipping, receiving, building medical kits, inventory management, Quality Assurance (QA) and cargo preparation and deployment, to include medical controlled items stored in a secure location, operation of various materials handling equipment, and utilizing updating DoD MMIS records.ResponsibilitiesEssential Job Functions:Responsible for the logistical oversight and inventory management of the 27 Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (CBRN) Response Enterprise to ensure precise SLEP/DMLSS statistics and effectively communicate all SLEP related updates to affected units, AFMED, and NGB/SGXConduct monthly reviews, and provides monthly reports to the COR, of SLEP and DMLSS inventory records to ensure accuracy and program complianceContractor also functions as Logical SLEP coordinatorConduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and complianceTrack and document the usage of medical materialsAssist in the procurement of medical supplies and equipmentThe position is designed for a Medical Materiel professional with a skillset critical to performing program management and oversight, effective communication at all levels, integrated collaboration, and strategic readiness reportingPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsNecessary Skills and Knowledge:Strong organizational and time management skillsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Minimum Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalentMinimum 2 years of logistics field experience (preferably in Medical Logistics); be familiar with, and able to navigate/utilize, MMISMust be able to pass client background screening for security clearanceTravel may be required for this positionPreferred Qualifications:Knowledge of medical supplies and equipment is preferred.Pay and BenefitsThe salary range for this position is $18 to $22 per hour.At Goldbelt, we value and reward our team's dedication and hard work.
