Position: Tool and Die MakerLocation: Lansing, MIPay Rate: $25--$31+/HR, commensurate with experienceSchedule: Monday -- Fridayu2022 1st Shift: 6:30 AM -- 5:00 PMu2022 2nd Shift: 5:00 PM -- 3:30 AMPosition OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tool and Die Maker to support high-quality machining operations that meet both customer and company standards. This role is essential in delivering timely, cost-effective tooling while contributing to a collaborative and high-performance team environment.Essential Duties & Responsibilitiesu2022 Fabrication of Line, Transfer, Gang, and Progressive tooling for sheet metal diesu2022 Perform both component and conventional buildsu2022 Troubleshoot and implement best-practice solutionsu2022 Operate independently while collaborating effectively with team membersu2022 Address die-related issues impacting product qualityu2022 Perform press operations and tryoutsu2022 Efficiently operate tool room equipmentu2022 Welding as necessaryu2022 Support continuous improvement and customer satisfactionu2022 Maintain awareness of department operations for improved efficiencyu2022 Ensure accountability for product, process, and service qualityu2022 Complete additional duties as neededEducational & Experience Requirementsu2022 High school diploma or equivalent requiredu2022 Minimum 2 years of Tool & Die experienceu2022 Knowledge of tool and die industry processes (required)u2022 CAD/CAM programming experience preferredu2022 Training opportunities providedSkills & Abilitiesu2022 Experience operating CNC and manual machines, presses, cranes, and fork trucksu2022 Strong computer knowledge including Windows and MS Officeu2022 Solid problem-solving and initiative-based decision-makingu2022 Effective written and verbal communication skillsu2022 Familiarity with CAD/CAM software is a plusPhysical & Environmental Requirementsu2022 Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout facilityu2022 PPE required --- safety glasses on the shop flooru2022 Primarily a manufacturing floor environmentu2022 Occasional travel may be requiredPerformance Expectationsu2022 Reliable attendance and punctualityu2022 Positive and professional communicationu2022 Ability to maintain strong working relationships with team membersBenefitsu2022 401(k) Program with 3% Company Matchu2022 Felony-friendly employer (no violent or CSC offenses)u2022 Growth and continuous training opportunitiesu00a0Ready to apply?
