Finance & Technology Solutions u2022 Apply specialized accounting, regulatory, and cost accounting standards across a variety of industry domains. u2022 Implement and optimize Tier 1 Digital Core technologies (e.g., SAP, Workday, Oracle) to address client needs. u2022 Drive finance and accounting ERP module implementation and integration with complementary applications. Data Architecture & Analytics u2022 Design and develop accounting data models and rules engines for high-quality, accessible financial information. u2022 Lead efforts to map and transition existing finance data models to new frameworks using proprietary Deloitte tools and methodologies. u2022 Harness data analytics, quantitative modeling, and rules-based methodologies to uncover insights in financial, regulatory, forensic, and transactional contexts. Solution Design & Deployment u2022 Define requirements, design prototypes, conduct testing, and facilitate training and support for digital finance solutions. u2022 Deploy automation, cognitive, and machine learning solutions to enhance client business performance. The team Our Controllership and Treasury Transformation offering modernizes the finance function to align with the evolving business objectives of organizations. We collaborate with CFOs, CAOs, controllers, and treasurers to develop an efficient, high-quality, data-driven, and tech-enabled controllership and treasury function. This empowers our clients to deliver greater value to their business partners and investors. Qualifications Required: u2022 Bachelor's degree in the following majors with relevant analytics or data management focused coursework desired: o Technology: Data Analytics, Computer Science, Management Information Systems o Business: Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Math/Engineering: Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, Math, Statistics, Actuarial u2022 3+ years of technical or advisory-related experience in entity and enterprise accounting, and/or technical accounting, controllership, financial planning and analysis and cost accounting. u2022 Excellent communication, presentation, client service, and technical writing skills, with a strong interest in integrating operations, corporate finance, and financial systems architecture with advanced technology. u2022 Experience leading aspects of full lifecycle implementations-from requirements gathering through deployment-using common ERP systems or boundary platforms (e.g., Workiva, Blackline) and finance analytics solutions; or experience serving as an administrator for ERP systems and digital finance solutions. u2022 Experience leading project requirements gathering, definition, and business process mapping u2022 Hands-on experience with one or more financial and data applications, including SAP, SAP Performance and Profitability Management (PaPM), SAP Profitability and Cost Management (PCM), Oracle, Oracle PCM, CostPerform, Workday, Workiva, BlackLine, Alteryx, Microsoft SQL Server, Tableau, PowerBI u2022 Excellent interpersonal skills with strong written and verbal communication abilities u2022 Energetic, self-motivated, and results-driven u2022 Proven ability to multi-task and reliably meet deadlines u2022 Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, with sound judgment and decision-making skills u2022 Proficiency in MS Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint u2022 Ability to travel up to 50% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. u2022 Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Preferred: u2022 Master's degree in Business, Information Systems, Accounting or Finance u2022 Experience in supervising and executing all phases of the technology life cycle, based on proven project management and testing methodologies. u2022 CPA, CIA, CFA, CA, CCA, CMA, CAIA or FRM certification, or working towards achieving one of these certifications. u2022 Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, Managerial and Cost Accounting, Profitability Analysis, IFRS, and SEC rules and regulations u2022 Experience with a variety of analytics tools and programming languages such as, but not limited to: o Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Mongo Db o Reporting Tools (e.g., Business Objects, Reporting Services) o Big Data Tools (e.g., Hadoop, Hive, Pig, Impala, Mahout) o Machine Learning/Cognitive (e.g., Python, Mahout, CognitiveScale) o Data Visualization Tools (e.g. QlikView, Tableau, Power Bi) o Configuration and implementation of finance/ accounting software applications o Project experience in areas such as root cause/gap analysis/best fit, financial modeling and value mapping o Project workstream leadership experience within a functional area (e.g. Record to Report, Order to Cash) Information for applicants with a need for accommodation: The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $118,700 - $218,600. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
