JOB REQUIREMENTS: We currently have a new career opportunity for afull-time CU-Thrive Community Engagement Specialist based out of ourcorporate office (Enterprise) in Appleton After initial onboardingonsite, this position could have the opportunity for hybrid (2-3 daysonsite/week, 2-3 days remote) work consideration. The CU-ThriveCommunity Engagement Specialist is a dynamic hybrid role that blendsfinancial education, community outreach, member relationship building,and business development. This individual serves as a key connectorbetween Fox Communities Credit Union and the communities weservedelivering financial literacy, cultivating partnerships, supportingbranch teams, and driving member growth. The primary responsibilities ofthe CU-Thrive Community Engagement Specialist role include but are notlimited to: Promoting and upholding the Fox Purpose, Mission, Vision,and Values Developing and delivering engaging financial literacypresentations and workshops for community partners and members Creatingand maintaining educational content on topics such as budgeting, credit,saving, and debt management Building and maintaining strongrelationships with local businesses, nonprofits, and communityorganizations Identifying and engaging prospective business andcommunity partners to expand the reach of the CU-Thrive programAchieving assigned goals Serving as the primary contact for assignedcommunity and business partners, ensuring satisfaction and ongoingcollaboration Representing Fox at community events, benefit fairs, andpartner meetings Collaborating with marketing to develop and distributepromotional materials Tracking outreach activities, member engagement,and performance metrics Working with internal teams to align messagingand ensure consistent delivery of financial education Candidates for theCU-Thrive Community Engagement Specialist position should possess: (1) Atwo-year college degree, or (2) Completion of a specialized course ofstudy at a business or trade school or relevant work experience Priorfinancial industry experience is required 5+ years in sales, businessdevelopment, education, or community outreach 12 years of experience ineducation, financial services, or community outreach preferred.Experience in financial services or team member (employee) benefitsprograms preferred Experience creating and delivering presentations todiverse audiences Excellent communication skills Passion for wanting toincrease financial literacy for all Proficient at public speaking andconducting webinars Ability to display professionalism withwell-developed communication necessary for working in a team environmentand projecting a positive image as a representative of the credit unionExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectivelycommunicate verbally and in writing Ability to facilitate interactivediscussions with students and adults of all ages Goal-oriented with aproven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.Self-motivated with the ability to effectively work independentlyCreative marketing skills Attention to detail and superior organizationand planning skills Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.
