Description We are looking for a skilled AZ-Licensed Litigation Attorney with over five years of experience to join our mid-sized law firm client's dynamic legal team in Old Town Scottsdale, Arizona. The ideal candidate will handle diverse litigation matters, including contract disputes, real estate issues, tort cases, and commercial litigation. Some past experience with bankruptcy law is a plus. This is an in-office role with some flexibility for remote work. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage all phases of civil litigation, from case initiation to resolution. u2022 Draft and file motions, briefs, and other legal documents with precision and attention to detail. u2022 Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies. u2022 Handle discovery processes, including document reviews, depositions, and interrogatories. u2022 Represent clients effectively in court proceedings and negotiations. u2022 Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients on litigation matters. u2022 Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and ensure successful outcomes. u2022 Utilize bankruptcy law expertise when applicable to support litigation cases. u2022 Maintain strong client relationships by delivering timely updates and exceptional service. u2022 Uphold the firm's high standards of professionalism and ethical practice. Requirements u2022 Active license to practice law in the state of Arizona. u2022 Minimum of five yearsu2019 experience in civil litigation. u2022 Proven expertise in drafting motions, briefs, and other legal documents. u2022 Strong knowledge of discovery processes and litigation procedures. u2022 Familiarity with bankruptcy law is highly desirable. u2022 Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. u2022 Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and meet deadlines. u2022 Clerkship experience, especially in federal or state appellate courts, is preferred.
