Ideal opportunity for college students and recent graduatesinterested in social work or related field such as psychology, humanservices, human development, speech and language disorders, specialeducation, etc. Responsibilities: Work one on one at our center toprovide effective therapy to teach new skills and decrease problematicbehavior as directed by behavioral therapist and licensed supervisorFlexible part-time hours with the opportunities to increase hours.Receive initial and ongoing paid training in the application ofapplied behavior analysis (ABA) therapeutic techniques. Provideenergetic, enthusiastic, and playful interactions with the clients whilereceiving ongoing support and supervision Maintain respectfuldemeanor, professional boundaries, and client confidentiality at alltimes Complete all required paperwork in a timely manner. SKILLS ANDCOMPETENCIES: Candidate must be able to naturally interact to developrapport with children with a variety of functioning levels Candidatemust display a high level of energy, compassion, and patienceCandidate must possess the ability to be self-motivated and to workindependently. Candidate must display strong critical thinking skills,and creative problem solving Candidate must treat the child and familywith dignity, respect and be non-judgmental while maintainingprofessional boundaries.
