The Sales Director is a complex deal shaper who aligns to client imperatives and solves business problems. Sales Directors target the right clients, grow quality pipeline, win profitable deals, and manage sales activities with the objective of creating mutually beneficial, trust-based relationships that create value. A person in this role is expected to originate and sell comprehensive deals with various operational components. As a Sales professional aligned to our Public Service practice, you have existing trust-based relationships with State agencies, major City/County agencies and/or Higher Education institutions within Massachusetts. You will be accountable for driving incremental sales, originating, and closing deals with and through other public service executives. Responsibilities include: u00b7 Provide solutions to complex business problems/opportunities requiring in-depth knowledge of client buyer needs. u00b7 Expand our work in new areas of the clientu2019s business through new offerings and services. u00b7 Drive sales process and outcomes to clients on a dedicated basis, growing a profitable pipeline and/or backlog of sales, through deal origination, sales negotiations, and closure. u00b7 Lead the entire origination process for a large deal working with the Client Account Lead and client team, bringing the right talent to the sales opportunities at the right time. u00b7 Bringing a focus on the entire sales life cycle of an opportunity from origination to closure. u00b7 Be the lead in ensuring the Accenture Sales Methodologies are implemented and followed to maximize win probabilities across a portfolio of assigned accounts. u00b7 Successfully lead and align a complex network of stakeholders. u00b7 Determine pursuit strategies, develop client messaging plans and relationships, and apply industry-leading transformation strategies and practices. u00b7 Travel as required, up to 100% Here's what you need: u00b7 Minimum of 8 years of experience originating and capturing complex multi-tower service deals, preferably in value greater than $10M. u00b7 Minimum of 8 years of experience shaping, negotiating, and closing large complex multi tower deals within Public Services/ Higher Education (SLED) clients. u00b7 Existing trust-based relationships with State, major City/County and/or Higher Education institutions within Massachusetts. u00b7 Bonus Points if: u00b7 Bachelor's degree u00b7 Conversant in emerging trends in IT and Business. u00b7 Ability to look across the broad range of Accenture services from technology, transformation, digital and operations to create value for our clients. Professional Skills u00b7 Proven ability to operate within a team-oriented environment. u00b7 Proven sales deal leadership originating and closing multi-discipline (consulting plus outsourcing plus technology) services opportunities to State and local government agencies. u00b7 High energy level, focus and ability to work well in demanding client environments. u00b7 Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills. u00b7 Strong leadership, problem solving, and decision-making abilities. u00b7 Unquestionable professional integrity, credibility, and character. Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
