Work is performed with direction from a supervisor or work lead with work delegated on a regular basis.Essential Duties:Able to follow safety practices, and meet quality standards of work.Safely operate various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, pallet jack) to move, load, unload, and stack materials and products within the warehouse or production facility.Perform daily forklift inspections and routine maintenance checks. Report any malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately.Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and integrity of materials handled. Verify shipping and receiving documentation for completeness.Deliver raw materials, components, and supplies to designated workstations or production lines to support manufacturing processes. Stage finished goods for shipment or storage.Able to look-up and investigate transaction history to resolve inventory discrepancies.Accurately reports shop floor production data via computer terminal and/or written reporting.Adheres to all quality and safety standardsDelivers products and supplies to internal user/customerDocuments each receipt (packing slip, bill of lading, etc.) to support computer system entriesEnters receipts in computerFollows both visual and written work instructions in order to complete assigned tasks within set time allotted.Maintains general housekeeping, maintenance and organization of the dock and inventory areasMay participate in lean/six sigma/quality/safety initiatives as required Performs stock picking, cycle counting, and point of use stocking tasks using manual and motorized material handling equipment including tow motors and pallet jacks.Performs cycle counting of parts and material handling duties as prescribed by Supervisor.Performs material data transactions on computer terminal.Performs other tasks as assigned by supervision.Produces or verifies packing list and/or bill of ladingReceives incoming products and raw materialsRequires completion of incoming inspection testing, confirmation of certificate of conformance and reconciliation of receiving/purchase documentation. Verifies receipt and match to purchase orderRequires hands on cleaning and maintenance along with organizational and interpersonal skills to coordinate with other departments and outside waste disposal vendorSupports other projects and performs duties as assignedSupports, communicates, reinforces and defends the mission, values and culture of the organizationEducation/Experience/Other Skills & Abilities:1-3 years of experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial trucks in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment.Valid forklift operator certification from an OSHA-compliant training program. (Prefered)Familiarity with warehouse layouts, material flow, loading docks, and storage practices.High School Diploma or GEDBasic understanding of inventory control systems and ability to accurately complete shipping, receiving, and inventory paperwork.Goal oriented and team focused to ensure completion of projects in a timely mannerPerforms all work in accordance with safety and workmanship and good housekeeping
