CDL A DriverLocation: Millberry, MA Schedule: full-time, daytime and overnight shiftsPay Range: $28 - $35 based on experience Mission of the role:The CDL A Driver supports all movement of Downeast products from the Cider House to the offsite warehouse location and all needed raw materials from the offsite warehouse to the Cider House to support a just-in-time manufacturing facility. What youll do:Safely transport product from East Boston to offsite facility and vice-versa (Low touch/dock to dock, mostly palletized loads)Transport raw materials from local suppliers to Downeast locationsDrop and hook trailers at the offsite warehouse (2 trailers)Maintain and upkeep daily pre and post trip logs + time sheets for DOT complianceUnloading trailers as needed at their warehouseUnderstand DOT regulations as pertains to alcohol beverage + hours of serviceCoverage of both daytime and overnight needs for transportationWhat you have:Clean MVRNo drug or alcohol violations in the last 20 yearsValid CDL-A and at least 6 months of experienceNon-expired medical cardAbility to pass DOT physicalsAbility to lift 50 lbsFlexibility to take on day or night shift as neededWho you are:You are a disciplined professional who puts safety first. You strictly adhere to DOT regulations and company SOPs, taking full ownership of your rig and your cargo. When delays occur or road conditions change, you communicate early with dispatch and support your team to ensure every delivery stays on track. You master new routes and equipment quickly, asking the right questions and using feedback to improve your performance. You are capable of operating in diverse environments, from extreme weather to tight loading docks. Above all, you are a reliable professional who operates with integrity and the determination needed to keep our supply chain moving.
