In this mid-level engineering role, you will apply sound engineering judgment to deliver high‑quality technical solutions, support product applications, and contribute to cross-functional initiatives. You will balance hands‑on problem solving with knowledge sharing, collaboration, and process improvements—helping elevate team capabilities while supporting customer and organizational needs.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Execution & Product SupportProvide accurate, timely technical support for product applications, design inquiries, and system performance questions.Diagnose and resolve moderately complex or non-standard scenarios using engineering principles grounded in product constraints and customer requirements.Review and refine technical documentation, contributing to updates or enhancements of design tools and resources.Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance for internal and external stakeholders.Project & Cross-Functional WorkLead defined portions of multidisciplinary projects involving engineering, sales, product management, and quality teams.Support continuous improvement through participation in process enhancements, pilot programs, and new tool or product rollouts.Provide technical content, training support, or feedback loops to ensure successful launches of new tools, services, or product offerings.Mentorship & Team CollaborationInformally mentor early‑career engineers by sharing best practices, lessons learned, and technical insights.Review peer work for accuracy, clarity, and alignment with engineering standards, offering constructive and supportive feedback.Actively contribute to team knowledge-sharing, onboarding, and internal resource development.Process & Capability DevelopmentIdentify recurring issues and propose improvements to documentation, tools, or workflows.Raise technical or operational concerns proactively and recommend practical, engineering-informed alternatives.Model shared accountability through consistent follow‑through, effective communication, and a collaborative team mindset.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or a related engineering discipline.EIT certification required; PE licensure preferred or actively in progress.5+ years of relevant engineering experience.Experience in technical customer support, field engineering, or infrastructure product applications preferred.Skills & CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills with sound engineering judgment.Clear, confident communicator able to tailor messaging for technical and non‑technical audiences.Collaborative, team‑oriented mindset with a focus on shared success.Highly organized and reliable, capable of managing multiple workstreams and adapting to shifting priorities.Comfortable navigating ambiguity and proactive in offering solutions.#LI-CH1#LI-RemoteHealth & Welfare Benefits: Medical and prescription drug plans, telemedicine (with medical plan), High-Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) and Health Savings Account (HSA), dental and vision plans, virtual physical therapy*, an employee assistance program (EAP)*, and voluntary accident, critical illness, and hospital indemnification programs.Financial Benefits: Retirement 401k program with company match, an employee stock purchase plan (voluntary), financial wellness planning*, paid parental leave*, flexible spending accounts (FSA) for child care and health care, short-term and long-term disability*, basic life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D)*, adoption financial reimbursement*, tuition reimbursement*, voluntary life insurance (for employees, spouses, and children), and voluntary identity theft and fraud protection. *100% paid by ADS.Growth Opportunities & Global Presence: With a global network of approximately 70 manufacturing plants and 40 distribution centers, ADS offers extensive opportunities for career growth and development in various locations around the world.Inclusive and Creative Work Culture: ADS fosters a culture of passion, innovation, and continuous improvement, empowering employees to shape industry-leading solutions.
