Description Are you an experienced Construction Controller looking to join an industry leader? This role is ideal for someone with a keen attention to detail, extensive knowledge of construction accounting, and the ability to manage financial operations efficiently. The Controller will play a key role in overseeing financial processes, ensuring compliance, and supporting the company's growth. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage all aspects of construction accounting, including WIP tracking and job costing. u2022 Oversee document control processes, ensuring accurate compilation and organization of financial and project-related documents. u2022 Utilize Procore and QuickBooks to maintain accurate financial records and reporting. u2022 Supervise and lead the accounting team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance. u2022 Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards. u2022 Monitor and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial planning processes. u2022 Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and other financial transactions. u2022 Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and improve operational efficiency. u2022 Collaborate with project managers to align financial strategies with construction project goals. u2022 Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis Requirements u2022 A minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on construction industry practices. u2022 Proficiency in construction accounting software, including Procore and QuickBooks. u2022 Demonstrated expertise in WIP tracking and job costing. u2022 Strong supervisory and leadership skills to manage an accounting team effectively. u2022 Solid understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. u2022 Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities. u2022 Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams. u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
