Description Robert Half is seeking a skilled Credit/ AR Manager for the northern suburbs. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in credit and collections, with a proven ability to lead teams and collaborate across departments. This role is vital to ensuring the financial health of the organization by managing accounts receivable and mitigating risks. Salary up to $135K plus 10% bonus. This is a hybrid model. Responsibilities: u2022 Oversee credit and collections operations, including accounts receivable aging, bad debt management, and risk assessment. u2022 Supervise and mentor a team, providing guidance and support to ensure performance goals are met. u2022 Collaborate with cross-functional departments to influence sales teams and align credit policies with business objectives. u2022 Analyze and approve credit applications while ensuring compliance with company credit policies. u2022 Generate accurate reports and analytics to provide insights into collections and credit activities. u2022 Utilize financial systems to manage accounts receivable and implement process improvements. u2022 Develop strategies for minimizing financial risks and optimizing cash flow. u2022 Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication. u2022 Identify opportunities for process enhancements to improve credit and collections efficiency. u2022 Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to maintain competitive and effective credit operations. Requirements u2022 At least 7 years of experience in credit and accounts receivable functions. u2022 Minimum of 3 years of experience managing teams in a financial setting. u2022 Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is desired. u2022 Expertise in commercial collections, credit analysis, and assessing business risk. u2022 Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments. u2022 Experience working with accounts payable/accounts receivable systems and generating analytical reports. u2022 Proficiency in using NetSuite or similar financial software. u2022 Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly and learn new systems and processes.
