DescriptionThe OpsTech Solutions organization provides world-class IT services for Amazonu2019s fulfillment centers and transportation networks worldwide. Within Opstech Solutions, our global Supply Chain organization ensures that Amazon operations sites have the tech equipment that they need, when they need it. We are seeking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Operations Team as a Process Assistant supporting our flagship Rapid Asset Deployment site, RAD1. This role is based out of RAD1 in Antioch, Tennessee. The standard hours of operations for the site are Monday u2013 Friday from 6am u2013 5:00pm, with 3 shifts running from 6am u2013 2:30pm, 8am - 4:30pm, and 8:30am - 5pm. (Additional Shifts Pending) The Process Assistant is assigned to the Area Manager, holding responsibilities specific to the different Fulfillment Center areas. This role also provides hands-on support to our Associates, Area Managers, support agencies, and Operations and IT Managers in RAD1. Key job responsibilities u2022 Support and work in assigned department. as required u2022 Support daily management of department duties, including allocating labor, leading meetings, assigning job duties, and communicating with internal and external suppliers u2022 Provide vacation coverage for Area Managers u2022 Provide policy follow-up and attendance tracking (duties do not extend to discipline) u2022 Track and report labor hours u2022 Assist the floor as an associate resource, training associates, and verifying SOP compliance u2022 Ensure successful area performance through tracking, reporting, and feedback of associate performance u2022 Participate in Operational Excellence initiatives in some capacity u2022 Fill in, as needed, with production duties u2022 Fully understand workflow and daily production goals u2022 Review and update SOP, as required u2022 Assist in keeping work area clean and organized u2022 Identify and address safety hazards within the work area u2022 Coach associates to work safely at all times u2022 Participate in safety initiatives u2022 Additional duties, as assigned Basic Qualifications- 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience - high school diploma or equivalent - Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays - Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach - Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as requiredPreferred Qualifications- 3+ years of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) experience Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The starting pay for this position is listed below including the base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift you select. As a total compensation company, you are eligible for additional earnings including overtime pay and performance bonuses. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.
