Project Manager Wireless DAS JOB DESCRIPTION for JR#5875 The Wireless 5G/DAS Project Management Office (PMO) consists of program and project management delivery, resource management, quality management, continuous improvement, professional development and knowledge management. Achieve operational efficiency and effectiveness of program management through full end-to-end design and delivery across multiple industries. Perform day-to-day project management work activities using NACS PMO standards, processes, methodologies and systems. Utilize structured and disciplined practices to ensure project management activities are consistent with company initiatives and expectations and achieve high quality, professional client service delivery. Achieve the attainment of financial targets inclusive of annual budget, gross profit and related financial metrics within area of responsibility. Ensure project management activities meet corporate customer satisfaction objectives as well as internal and external SLAs. Work collaboratively across all levels and departments of the organization and ensure a seamless transition of work activities to execute operations functions. Location: Chicago, IL Learn more about Black Box at: Responsibilities: u00b7 Overall management of individual DAS/WLAN projects including site survey, design, procurement, installation, testing/commissioning, and integration. Responsible for cost, quality, and schedule u00b7 Execute NACS PMO standards, processes and methodologies in a consistent manner for project planning and execution activities including the following: u00b7 Project planning fundamentals: initiating, planning, estimating, resourcing, scheduling and budgeting u00b7 Prepare Project Roadmap with concurrence of all participating organizations and negotiate agreement with the customer, including identification of work and organizational breakdown structures, requirements creation and management, cost and material estimates, milestone payment schedule, risk and communication management plans. u00b7 Manages execution of project u00b7 Act as primary customer contact for project. Ability to clearly articulate design, installation, and operational concepts and solutions to customers and installers. u00b7 Conduct recurring customer reviews addressing scope, schedules, issues, actions, risks and customer expectations. Set up reviews with carriers and eco-system partners as required. u00b7 Work with procurement to ensure material is delivered on time. u00b7 Develop install SOW and negotiate price with installer. u00b7 Manage installation. u00b7 Manage testing of RF systems to include RF to fiber based, and Bi-Directional Amplifiers (BDAs). u00b7 Assist engineering in development of final acceptance packages for customer, carriers, and eco-system partners where required. u00b7 Oversee integration with carriers and eco-system partners where required. u00b7 Transition project to Day 2 support team after project completion. u00b7 Manage Project control fundamentals: monitoring, anticipating potential problems, identifying project conflicts, taking corrective action, resolving issues, managing scope, schedule, cost, profit and budget, project reporting, quality review and assurance. Issue and communicate program status to leadership, steering committee and other stakeholders as appropriate. u00b7 Develop new business or expand the product line with the client as applicable. Manage customer enhancement programs including all bid and schedule estimates and management approval activities. u00b7 Promote continuous growth of project management practices within the PMO and organization to achieve client and organizational objectives. u00b7 Achieve performance targets established by leadership for applicable Key Performance Indicators. u00b7 Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications: u00b7 Bacheloru2019s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related field, or equivalent, relevant experience. u00b7 PMP, Six Sigma, Agile, SCRUM or related certifications preferred. u00b7 5 years RF/ Wireless Project Management experience within the technology services industry. Experience with in-building DAS and WLAN preferred. u00b7 Experience with field test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and Ekahau. u00b7 Strong relationship management fundamentals: client relationship management; project team management; ability to work and motivate in a team environment and overall change management u00b7 Ability to work effectively across many internal functional groups to optimize product offerings, create a seamless internal and external customer experience and resolve issues. u00b7 Effective writing skills are mandatory. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, SharePoint, MS Project, PPM tools, ERP, , workforce management and cloud-based technology systems. u00b7 Able and willing to travel up to 25%.
