A qualified candidatewill have personalexperiencein receiving behavioral health services,havesuccessfully navigated through the behavioral health system, and isready to help other ontheir personal journey.The primary responsibilities of the Peer Support Specialist position areto model the skills necessary to maneuver within the behavioral healthsystem and other community programs, serving as a system guide andadvocate. This role provides direct support to the individual served andact as an active member of the Adult Recovery Team. Peer SupportSpecialist certification is required.
