Leads monthly inspections, quality audits, and process improvement initiatives to maintain operational excellence. + Supervises pharmacy technician staff, including recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management. + Conducts evaluations, addresses disciplinary actions, and facilitates professional development through coaching, mentoring, and competency validation. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: u2022 Strong verbal and written communication, organizational, problemu2010solving, and customer service skills u2022 Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changes as necessary u2022 Ability to interact constructively with supervisors, peers, and external customers u2022 Ability to follow direction from formal management personnel and informal supervisors (pharmacists) and at times, to work well without direct supervision u2022 Ability to identify, follow up, and resolve discrepancies u2022 Ability to identify, resolve, and mitigate pharmacy operational or program issues u2022 Ability to keep accurate and complete records u2022 Knowledge of medical terminology u2022 Ability to teach pharmacy technician students, if applicable u2022 Proficiency in hospital computer system technology and automation u2022 Knowledge and competence in aseptic techniques chemotherapy product compounding (if applicable) u2022 Initiative to keep abreast of and communicate developments in the provision of pharmacy services u2022 Ability to coordinate and lead small groups of people in determining in the provision of pharmacy services u2022 Leader qualities essential to operate effectively within the institution and advance the practice of pharmacy u2022 Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English u2022 Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office u2022 Performs other duties as assigned Education: u2022 High School Grad or Equiv [Required] u2022 Technical/Vocational School [Preferred] Field of Study: u2022 Completion of a pharmacy technician training program [Preferred] Work Experience: u2022 3+ years of contemporary hospital pharmacy experience [Required] Additional Information: u2022 Additional licensure or certification requirements may apply depending on the specific unit or state in which this position is located.
