ND job order 923816Temporary seasonal position from 3/1/2026 to 11/15/2026The General Farm & Ranch position will be required to perform any combination of the following tasks: toattend to the farming operation, move pigs, chickens, and cattle daily using 4-wheelers and side by sides topastures for summer grazing duties; examine animals to detect diseases and injuries; assist with calving;herd into corral and/or stall and manually restraining animals; apply medications to cuts and bruises; assistwith castration of livestock; clip identifying notches or brands animals; manually clean stalls/corrals.Basic maintenance fencing of existing lines and moving of electric fence. Must be able to make minorequipment repairs, and perform routine maintenance and cleaning of farm implements, and operate tractorsand farm implements required to plant, cultivate, haul and harvest hay and other crops; must manuallyhoist/stack hay bales; pick rocks, repair fence on existing lines and maintenance. Must be able to find and maintain bearings to grazing areas. The job entails working around farm machinery, a variety of farm animals as well as exposure to small predators and non-venomous snakes.Most duties are performed out of doors, and entail exposure to extreme heat, cold, dust, rain, and otherenvironmental conditions. Worker must be able to crouch, bend, lift and carry up to 100 pounds. Additionalhours and split shifts needed during haying, farrowing, and calving season. Driving is required must have avalid driver's license to drive off the ranch. Increased wages and bonus may be possible depending onexperience.Employer provided items (at no cost to the worker): All tools and equipment necessary to perform the duties assigned as well as transportation between worker(s) on-site housing and the work site. A cell phone or two-way radio will be provided for emergency and ranch communications at no cost to the worker (excluding long distance charges).The expected work schedule may be required in a split shift due to the nature of the job duties. Hours may vary due to weather, time of year and the requirements of the job. Work may be offered more than the specified hours per day, but only required to work the hours specified. Work may be offered 7 days a week but only required 6 days a view of the statutorily established basic function of the Employment Service (ES) as a no-fee labor exchange that is as a forum for bringing together employers and job seekers, neither the Employment and Training Administration (ETA) nor the State Workforce Agencies (SWA) are guarantors of the accuracy or truthfulness of information contained on job orders submitted by employers. Nor does any job order accepted or recruited upon by the ES constitute a contractual job offer to which the ETA or a SWA is in any way a party.To apply, applicants must provide their full name and contact information.
