Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: u2022 Knowledge of all programmer equipment, standard tests and procedures, and typical readings including arrhythmias and abnormalities. [Required] u2022 Knowledge of typical patient reactions and signs of distress including the ability to recognize, report and treat potentially lethal arrhythmias. [Required] u2022 Knowledge of anatomy and physiology of the heart and cardiac medications. [Required] u2022 Must be detail oriented and able to perform all job requirements in an independent environment. [Required] u2022 Demonstrates ability to communicate by reading, writing legibly, speaking and comprehending English effectively in order to carry out job requirements. [Required] u2022 Fulfills patient care responsibilities by providing a variety of remote checks, in-office interrogations, and programming of implanted cardiac devices. [Required] u2022 Reviews abnormal device checks with the Cardiologist or Nurse Practitioner. [Required] Education: u2022 High School Grad or Equiv [Required] Work Experience: u2022 Or course completion.
