You have a Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, with 9 years of professional experience, a Masters degree with over 7 years of experience, or equivalent experience/combined education. You currently hold a Top Secret clearance. The Work: We are in search of an experienced Systems Engineer to join our team. As an Engineering Professional, your responsibilities will include: u2022 Contributing to the creation of design solutions that address complex engineering problems across the full software cycle. u2022 Developing operational scenarios, system requirements and architectures based on the customeru2019s goals and contractual requirements. u2022 Incrementally developing the product design and delivery optimization requirements. Act as a core member of a multi-disciplinary team that represents all capabilities, directly supporting software development and integration activities for the program. u2022 Developing functional, architectural, and detailed designs. Incrementally develops design to provide added or updated functionality based on operational scenarios and customer requirements. u2022 Managing key aspects of the technical implementation of the program, by collaborating across disciplines to ensure that technical parameters, interfaces, and assumptions are consistent, and interfacing with stakeholders (e.g., engineering, technical staff, client) to ensure program goals are met. u2022 Orchestrating cross-functional collaboration to ensure best practices and domain knowledge are shared. u2022 Performing obsolescence analysis for current/future hardware solutions. u2022 Supporting and providing guidance on operations and maintenance, including definition and communication of complete test, integration, and checkout plans for new capabilities. u2022 Working cross-functionally to analyze, test and iterate technical requirements, user stories and operations concepts. Provide technical direction and clarification of requirements within the team. Basic Qualifications: u2022 Bachelors degree from an accredited college, with 9 years of professional experience, 7 years of professional experience with a Masters degree or equivalent experience/combined education. u2022 Security Clearance required Prior to Start: Top Secret u2022 Experience performing software and/or systems integration and testing u2022 Experience with validation and verification of system requirements u2022 Experience developing system, hardware, and performance requirements u2022 Ability to work in a rapid paced, Agile development environment u2022 Ability to travel to vendors or test events as it may be required u2022 Experience in test plan/procedure preparation and test execution u2022 Proven ability to effectively collaborate in a team environment u2022 Experience working with internal and external customers Desired Skills: u2022 Experience working with RF technologies u2022 Experience in technology integration of complex systems u2022 Experience working within a System Development Life Cycle u2022 Experience developing system interfaces and architectures u2022 Experience with SolidWorks EPDM, Cameo Systems Modeler, JIRA, DOORS u2022 Experience with 3D Modeling software (CATIA, Solidworks, etc) u2022 Agile Experience (Product Owner, Scrum Master) u2022 Experience working with vendors u2022 Experience working with internal and external customers u2022 Methodical approach to problem solving u2022 Effective oral and written communication skills u2022 Experience utilizing Operating Systems & Environments Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
