Employment Type: Part time Shift: Rotating Shift Description: Summary: Determines the quality of receivables and all food items in storage. Rotates all new deliveries. Delivers food and supplies daily to specified hospital locations and day cares. Purchases misc. items from grocery store. Keeps serving area clean and supplied during lunch Qualifications: High school diploma. Chauffeurs license preferred. Physically Fit. Able to lift more than 45 pounds in full range of motion working both above the head and low to the ground. Functions and Responsibilities + Continually standing, walking and lifting. Frequently bending, squatting and twisting. + Stocks and records floor stock supplies on nursing units. + Rotates all stock using FIFO method. + Assembles empty racks and CO2 tanks on Mon. and dirty linen on Tuesdays for pick up. + Keeps all storage areas neat and organized. Empty cardboard boxing is removed daily. + No food is to be stored directly on the floor nor closer than 17 inches from ceilings. + Informs supervisor immediately of any damaged delivery items or foods delivered at improper temperatures.
