Description The Sr. Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations to ensure smooth and efficient processes. This role involves managing staff, ensuring compliance with safety standards, optimizing workflow, and maintaining accurate inventory. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, demonstrates strong leadership skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: u2022 Monitor and ensure the accuracy of inventory management, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods. u2022 Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure functionality and safety. u2022 Optimize warehouse workflows and processes to maximize efficiency and productivity. u2022 Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reports on operations and key performance indicators. u2022 Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to build a skilled and motivated workforce. u2022 Coordinate with other departments, including logistics and customer service, to ensure seamless operations. u2022 Handle and resolve operational issues promptly and effectively. u2022 Manage building security and shift opening processes. u2022 Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees. u2022 Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees. u2022 Improves staff performance by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees. u2022 Drive a culture of safety and compliance, ensuring adherence to all regulatory and company standards. u2022 Oversee all aspects of warehouse and distribution operations, from inventory planning to order fulfillment and shipping. u2022 Leverage lean tools and continuous improvement strategies to streamline processes and maximize efficiency. u2022 Play a critical role in major projects such as warehouse and software launches. u2022 Serve as a change agent, fostering collaboration and driving standardized practices across warehouse locations. ESSENTIAL Skills and competencies: u2022 BS degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Business preferred. Min of 5+ years in managing a multishift (1st and 2nd shift) team of 50+ in a warehouse or distribution facility u2022 Leadership skills to include: interviewing, hiring, and training. Performance management. Safety. u2022 MUST have strong system skills.
