Summary: This position is responsible for facilitating successful project delivery including the planning, scheduling, execution, and closing of all assigned projects within established budget and schedule. Utilizing Project Management (PM) methodologies, while managing all project team members (organizational resources and engaged third party vendors/consultants) to deliver solutions according to project scope and goals. Supporting the execution and coordinating the projects of multiple team members and leaders. Overseeing relevant project documents and deliverables and report on progress throughout the project life cycle as well as acquire a deep understanding of Rushu2019s internal administrative systems and existing capabilities, in order to support the operations team in the efforts to drive operational efficiencies and provide solutions to a variety of business challenges. Providing guidance, coaching and support for less experienced colleagues. Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures. Other information: Required Job Qualifications: u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in business administration, projection management, health care or related discipline. u2022 At least six years of project management experience required. u2022 PMP or Lean Six Sigma Certification required within one year of hire. u2022 Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills. u2022 Through knowledge of formal project management methodologies and proven skill in effective execution required. u2022 Proficient and functional knowledge of MS Office (including Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Access, Outlook) and Project Management software. u2022 Thorough knowledge of formal project management methodologies and proven skill in effective execution. u2022 Strong time management and prioritization skills. u2022 Ability to execute project management leveraging Lean process improvement methodology required. u2022 Ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels in the organization. u2022 Demonstrates strong knowledge and competency regarding lean tools, methods and mindset. u2022 Hours outside normal business hours may be occasionally required to meet project deadlines. Preferred Job Qualifications: u2022 Professional in Project Management (PMP) or Lean Six Sigma certification. u2022 Ability to execute project management leveraging Lean process improvement methodology. Responsibilities: Job Responsibilities: u2022 Effectively manages multiple projects simultaneously leveraging required and available resources as needed. u2022 Directs and manages project development and progress from beginning to end. u2022 Guides teams as they work with project sponsors and business stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, tasks, milestones, budgets, and measures of success. u2022 Establishes project governance with key leaders and stakeholders and facilitate governance activities to ensure leadership effectively clears roadblocks and promotes the success of the project. u2022 Acts as liaison between IT stakeholders to strengthen understanding of business-aligned goals. u2022 Drafts and submits budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes. u2022 Plans, estimates, and control project costs, including resource planning, to ensure project is delivered on time and within budget. u2022 Builds, develops, and grows any business relationships vital to the success of the project. u2022 Estimates and identifies the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. u2022 Negotiates with contractors and internal department managers for the acquisition of required personnel. u2022 Develops scaled project plans and associated communications documents using standard tools. u2022 Identifies and manages project resource needs and goals - strategies, staffing, scheduling, issue resolution, contingency plans, communication plans, and change control. u2022 Facilitate or participates in routine project team meetings to establish and continually manage project requirements and expectations with team members and other stakeholders. u2022 Coaches, mentors, and motivates project team members and contractors, influencing them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work. u2022 Provides project management coaching and mentoring to others in the organization. u2022 Determines the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyzes results and troubleshoots problem areas. u2022 Tracks and reports status (progress, next steps, issues) against project plans to appropriate stakeholders and senior management based upon agreed to communication plans. u2022 Collaborates and coordinates efforts with those of the organizational performance improvement infrastructure. u2022 Identifies and manages project dependencies and critical path. u2022 Identifies and resolves issues/conflicts and/or escalates where appropriate for resolution. u2022 Proactively manages potential scope and schedule changes. Where required, escalates based upon standards established within communication plan. u2022 Guides team in the maintenance of project management guidelines, training programs, policies, and procedures. u2022 Conducts project lessons learned sessions and creates a recommendations report in order to develop best practices and tools for project execution and management. u2022 Performs other related duties as assigned.
