This is an outstanding opportunity to advance your career with established clients and leverage Jacobsu2019 national resources and technical expertise.What Youu2019ll Do:u2022 Lead and manage roadway and highway design projects, including geometric design, safety improvements, and multimodal integration for OMI.u2022 Develop and grow our roadway engineering team to position Jacobs as the preferred solutions provider in the region.u2022 Drive workforce planning and workload balancing with a focus on retention, recruitment, and career progression.u2022 Support MoPs and PMs in identifying resources to support transportation projects across the geography and beyond.u2022 Mentor and coach staff to deliver superior technical results and foster career development through Jacobsu2019 performance process.u2022 Promote a culture of quality, safety, inclusion, and innovation in all project delivery.u2022 Build and maintain strong client relationships to enhance project performance and secure future opportunities. u2022 Bacheloru2019s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field with a focus on roadway/highway design.u2022 Proven experience delivering roadway design projects for state DOTs in OMI and municipalities, including geometric design and safety improvements.u2022 Established client relationships and prior experience with Ohio DOT; familiarity with Michigan DOT and Indiana DOT preferred.u2022 Previous experience leading teams and providing mentorship.u2022 Strong understanding of AASHTO design standards, roadway safety principles, and multimodal considerations.u2022 Excellent communication skillsu2014verbal and writtenu2014with technical writing expertise.Ideally, Youu2019ll Also Have:u2022 Professional Engineer (PE) license in Ohio, Michigan, or Indiana (or ability to obtain).u2022 Experience preparing project approaches, fee estimates, and proposals.u2022 Familiarity with AASHTO Green Book, Ohio DOT Location and Design Manual, and roadway design approaches.u2022 Proficiency in design and analysis tools such as MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, ArcGIS, and traffic analysis software (Synchro, Transmodeler).Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
