Accounts Receivable Representative: II (Intermediate)

Description We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Representative to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this role, you will handle a variety of financial tasks, including managing invoices, processing payments, and addressing customer inquiries. This is a long-term contract position offering an excellent opportunity to develop your accounting expertise. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage customer accounts by processing payments and resolving discrepancies efficiently. u2022 Address inbound calls and provide attentive assistance to customer inquiries. u2022 Generate and review invoices to ensure accuracy and proper documentation. u2022 Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software to maintain financial records. u2022 Collaborate with clients to resolve overdrafts and payment issues. u2022 Monitor accounts receivable balances and ensure timely collections. u2022 Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to address concerns. u2022 Perform check processing and reconcile transactions to maintain accurate accounts. u2022 Assist in improving processes related to accounts receivable functions. u2022 Maintain a meticulous approach while handling sensitive financial information. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in accounts receivable or similar accounting functions. u2022 Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries professionally. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software programs. u2022 Ability to process invoices and payments accurately. u2022 Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. u2022 Skilled at resolving discrepancies and overdrafts effectively. u2022 Strong organizational and computer skills to manage financial tasks. u2022 Familiarity with general accounting principles and practices.
