Our academic and career technicaltraining programs are accredited and lead to nationalindustry-recognized credentials.POSITION DUTIES INCLUDE:o Follows all integrity guidelines and procedures and ensures nomanipulation of student data.o Assists with the supervision of a comprehensive and diverse recreationprogram.o Coordinates recreation activities with CPP and Social Development toinclude evening programming.o Coordinates recreation and leadership activities/programs with Centerand local community resources.o Ensures safe practices and program compliance within prescribed safetyguidelines.o Documents student participation and accountability during recreationactivities.o Maintains inventory of equipment and material and controls their use.Recommends purchase of specific equipment. Performs repairs on equipmentas needed.o Responsible for the overall appearance, condition and organization ofthe recreation department facilities.o May oversee student recreation aide program.o Produces quality work/assignments in a thorough, timely and accuratemanner.o Maintains appropriate personal attendance, accountability and workproductivity standards.o Plans, prioritizes and organizes assignments to meet established goalsand deadlines.o Understands and applies job knowledge to effectively complete allrequired job responsibilities. Proactively maintains the skills requiredto perform job duties.o Mentors, monitors and models the Career Success Standards as requiredby the PRH.o Provides high-quality supervision and management for the studentpopulation and positively influences student behavior. Shows respect andcourtesy to students and holds them accountable for their actions andbehavior.o Provides timely operational support for Center operations to ensurequality programs and services. Pursues improvement in Center operationsto fulfill program objectives.o Exchanges ideas and information, both orally and in writing, in aclear and concise manner and contributes meaningfully to group effortsby offering relevant ideas and knowledge. Provides quality and timelyinformation to DOL/Company when requested.o Effectively articulates thoughts and ideas Identifies problems,analyzes causes and evaluates appropriate solutions prior to taking orrecommending actions. Follows up to ensure prompt/appropriate action istaken and that problems are in fact corrected.o Works in partnership with staff from all Departments to ensureeffective supervision and services are provided to students.o Accepts direction and supervision from the Center Director/Center DutyOfficer/Shift Manager to include assignments to temporarily perform jobresponsibilities of other departments and positions.o Other duties as assigned.Qualifications- High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associates of Arts Degree or 1-year related experience working with youth.- Must possess a valid in-State Driver's License and meet Company insurability requirements. CDL preferred.- Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching.
