Job Summary Director of Human Resources Grade 15 The job has multi-campus responsibilities included but are not limited to advising, developing, and administering human resources policies in the areas of employee engagement, recruitment, separation, employee relations, employee retention, disability and leave management, benefits, job descriptions, compensation, performance management, training, safety, workeru2019s compensation and project management. Employee Engagement/Retention u2022 Works with management teams to drive employee engagement in association with client goals. u2022 Helps drive participation in corporate engagement survey, action planning and improvement in engagement u2022 Drives retention through good Employee relations practices and employee engagement u2022 Facilitate and have responsibility for 30/60/90 evaluation process with all new hires Recruitment u2022 Accesses current recruitment processes and makes recommendations for improvement u2022 Ensures compliance with the Compass Group Talent Acquisition and client partner recruiting protocols. u2022 Submitting and responsibility for candidate pipeline, onboarding process u2022 Record Keeping, planning & facilitating onboarding for hourly Employee Relations u2022 Liaison with managers and the client HR teams u2022 Helps establish best practices and drives consistency in employee relations issues, including term Manage and insure employee retention strategies are in place and properly executed. u2022 Supports EEOC and law suit claims documentation and delivers training where needed on Performance Management/employee relations concerns/needs. u2022 Manages employee relations to include working with employees to resolve sensitive or difficult work-related problems, investigation, employee coaching and performance issues Human Resources Compliance u2022 Ensures all necessary hiring and termination paperwork is filed appropriately. u2022 Assist locations on employee file maintenance to ensure they are in compliance with all state and federal laws. u2022 Ensures Regulatory Compliance for I-9 and Wage and Hour laws and Labor Relations u2022 Participates in labor relations disputes and negotiations u2022 Serves as the leave of absence liaison between employee and LOA department to ensure compliance Other u2022 Assists with communicating employee benefits programs and to escalate/resolve benefits issues or inquiries. u2022 Ensure payroll is being completed timely and no pay issues u2022 Training regarding HR & LR as well as LWS learning in coordination with site leadership u2022 Supports Management soft skills training in coordination with site leadership QUALIFICATIONS: u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in related area and/or the equivalent experience/training u2022 Thorough knowledge of human resources u2022 SHRM: CP, SCP, and or PHR, SPHR certifications preferred.
