Education Qualifications + Bachelor's Degree degree from an accredited college or university in nursing Required Experience Qualifications + Minimum 2 years nursing experience including one year experience in pediatric nursing Required and + Previous supervisory or lead experience Preferred Skills and Abilities + Must be able to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature, without loss of efficiency or composure, and be able to perform under stressful conditions when confronted with multiple requests, demonstrating prioritizing skills. Licenses and Certifications + RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure Current and valid Nebraska RN license/RN Compact license Upon Hire Required and + BCLS - Basic Life Support Current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association Upon Hire Required and + PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Current and valid certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 180 Days Required and + ACLS Current and valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required (ED and CCU only) within 180 Days Required and + NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Current and valid certification in Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) required (NICU only).
