This is a full-time position, M-F, 8am-5pmu2022 Review and prioritize daily shipping orders when received.u2022 Pull all parts as indicated on the shipping orders, assemble and other components if necessary.u2022 If required, call the freight carrier indicated on the shipping order and complete any paperwork that the carrier may require.u2022 Load and unload trucks as necessary. Inspect containers and material reporting any damage or missing items noticed.u2022 Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records.u2022 Determines method of shipment.u2022 Affixes shipping labels on packed boxes.u2022 Assembles cardboard containers or selects preassembled containers.u2022 Inserts items into containers, binds the container with the appropriate tape.u2022 Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, records damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify any shortages.u2022 Routes items to appropriate location.u2022 Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.u2022 Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.u2022 Make product deliveries to local customers on occasionu2022 Other duties as assigned.Skills & Experienceu2022 GED; and 6 months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceu2022 Reads and follow written work instructionsu2022 Possess strong mathematical skillsu2022 Able to use standard hand and power toolsu2022 Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs.u2022 Ability to become forklift certified (we can train)u2022 Excellent attention to detailMRA is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer
