This individual provides comprehensive physical therapy services to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in therapy settings across the health system, including their families/caregivers. Services include, but are not limited to, comprehensive evaluation and treatment of gait and transfer limitations, orthotic/prosthetic training and comprehensive wound care.MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:Education: Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English. Recent graduates who have applied for the registration examination may be considered for provisional appointment.Experience: Applicants with physical disabilities experience, specialty certification or experience in one or more specialty areas is preferredLicense(s): Ability to obtain and maintain a State of Nevada PhysicalTherapy License. Provisional License acceptable until State of Nevada PhysicalTherapy license is issued.Home Health 205351 - Valid State of Nevada or California driver's license and ability to pass Renown Health's Department of Motor Vehicles Report criteria and current automobile insurance for department.Certification(s):BLS/CPR certification per AHA standards puter / Typing: Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computers skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:The incumbent must provide optimal patient care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in all therapy settings. This position conducts evaluations, develops appropriate plan of care, and provides rehabilitation services through time of discharge from the facility. This position is responsible for the direct clinical supervision of staff physical therapy assistants and rehab technicians.Therapist is expected to provide services interchangeably among like facilities. For example, acute care staff may float between inpatient hospital settings, while post-acute staff may provide services within various post-acute facility settings based upon census and business needs.At times, this position may be asked to participate in program development and outcome measurements in the clinical setting.Per diem staff is required to work a
