We want you to apply Job Summary and Qualifications JOB SUMMARY The Senior Imaging Systems Administrator is an advanced technical leader proactively overseeing radiology and/or cardiology systems across markets or divisions, optimizing clinical workflows and driving system performance for all company hospitals. This role designs solutions for complex issues, leads planning for projects like imaging system upgrades, and mentors junior team members, proactively shapes and adopts organizational changes. With strategic oversight, the Senior System Administrator enhances clinical efficiency and guides teams through change in a complex, IT and Imaging landscape. . GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to: + Assists division to formulate imaging and related product strategies, documents the strategy. + Collaborating with enterprise imaging application areas to implement plans for imaging applications standardization and optimization. + Works with Consulting ISA to manage/facilitate implementation of workflow standards, best practices and utilization plans within a specialty area. + Participate in Budget planning and Strategy. Ensure the Clinical Imaging Refresh Inventory Template is update + Support escalations involving division imaging systems. + Work with ISAu2019s to ensure all Imaging Inventory is kept up to date on the Corporate Inventory Spreadsheet, completing ALL fields on the form + Documents division imaging system configurations, dataflow paths, version control, backups, Image acquisition and management processes using standard documentation. + Participates in disaster recover planning and testing. + Participates in division acquisition/divestiture planning and tracking. + Monitors imaging systems data quality and integrity. + Ensures QA processes are being performed in each division, backups are occurring in accordance with HCA policy, + Ensures compliance to established standards, builds plans to improve compliance. + Monitors PACShealth scores and ensures they remain at target levels. + Problem effort participation and participates in root cause analysis as trends in issues in specialty area(s) are identified. + Participates in the Architecture Review (ARC) process, communicates results and leads efforts to close gaps or provisions. + Serves as a key resource for implementation and support of medical imaging applications at facilities within the division. + Act as support and mentor to fellow ISAu2019s. Documenting training, mentoring sessions. This position requires strong technical skills, people skills, personal drive, and the ability to see strategy through to execution in a matrixed reporting environment. Strong organization, written, verbal, and presentation skills are essential. Role Competencies and Expectations + Customer Advocate: Leveraging previous experience with imaging systems and knowledge of clinical workflows, strategizes with hospital, division, and clinical leaders to improve radiology and/or cardiology department workflows, aligning with clinical goals, and orchestrates planning for enterprise projects to ensure flawless execution across all company hospitals. + Independent: Operates as a subject matter expert, architecting enterprise-wide solutions and leading critical projects without the need for supervision. + Expertise: Application SME for imaging related applications as it relates to position and assigned duties. Effectively able to support fellow ISAu2019s and issue escalations and critical events. + Initiative: Takes proactive measures for enterprise-wide needs, such as identifying solutions to gaps that would lead to improved system performance, reduced support overload or enabling clinical staff to spend less time in the system and more time caring for patients. + Organization: Capable of coordinating multiple enterprise projects or initiatives, such as defining documentation, system, or operational standards, and communicates status to hospital, division, and clinical leaders in a repeatable, executive-level format, preempting risks across divisions. + Leadership: Advises and mentors junior team members, sets exemplary standards for adopting new technologies, embraces and assists team through organizational changes, and drives enterprise-wide collaboration to participate in successful change adoption. + Communication: Builds positive relationships with business operations, ITG leadership, and vendors. Promotes sharing of information through documentation and distribution of best demonstrated practices. Owns the facilitation of multi-way communication with key stakeholders. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED + Minimum of five years of relevant clinical imaging system experience including system upgrades and/or administration, interfaces and integration. + Experience in leading or participating in large multi-disciplinary projects. + Understanding of pertinent JCAHO, HIPAA, STS, ACC, MQSA, ACR and other governing body guidelines + Demonstrates understanding of standards and emerging technologies, specific to imaging applications + Demonstrates understanding of imaging support processes and workflow + Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical information both verbally and in writing Preferred: + Strong history and understanding of HCA systems and procedures + Experience in large, complex organization or corporate structured environment + Experience as an imaging system administrator or manager + Experience operating in HCA division or clinical facilities + Demonstrated customer orientation, excellent leadership and teaching abilities + Demonstrated advanced computer skills RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE + 5+ years EDUCATION + High School Graduate/Equivalent + Bacheloru2019s Degree Preferred HCA Healthcare has been recognized as one of the World's Most Ethical Companiesu00ae by the Ethisphere Institute more than ten times.
