The ideal candidate will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate complex business problems into robust ML and analytics solutions, primarily leveraging the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.The opportunity: Hybrid: In office/remote Design, develop, and deploy Python-based machine learning solutions for large-scale data analysis and business use cases. Build and maintain ETL and data pipelines to process both structured and unstructured datasets efficiently. Perform Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA), feature engineering, model validation, and performance tuning. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions. Optimize ML models and data pipelines for scalability, performance, reliability, and accuracy. Implement and support model deployment and monitoring using cloud-based MLOps practices. Ensure data quality, governance, and best practices in data modeling and pipeline design. Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote engineering best practices and standards. Contribute to architectural decisions and continuously improve ML and data platforms.This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.What you need: Core Technical Skills Strong proficiency in Python, with extensive hands-on experience using: Pandas, NumPy Scikit-learn FastAPI and/or Flask for ML services and APIs Solid understanding of machine learning workflows, including: Data preprocessing and feature engineering Model training, evaluation, and validation Model deployment and lifecycle management Microsoft / Cloud Stack (Preferred) Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services such as: Azure Machine Learning Azure Data Factory (ADF) Azure Synapse Analytics Related Microsoft AI/ML and data services Experience implementing cloud-based MLOps practices (CI/CD for ML, model versioning, monitoring). Data & Analytics Strong SQL skills with experience in complex queries and performance optimization. Good understanding of data modeling, warehousing concepts, and analytical data structures. Nice to Have Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
