Jr. Level Civil / Structural Engineer (Entry Level) Telecommunication - Akron, OH - JOB 25-01722Pay Range: $50,000 - $65,000 Permanent Position with BenefitsA local consulting engineering firm is seeking to hire an entry level Telecom Structural Engineer to perform engineering analysis, design and calculations for structural design of telecommunication installations on towers, mounting systems, buildings, concrete foundations, rooftops, platforms and water tanks. We currently are seeking six people right now.REQUIREMENTSu2022 Bachelor's Degree, Civil Engineering; emphasis in Structural Engineering is strongly preferred.u2022 Able to run structural calculations; College project work is acceptable.u2022 Able to evaluates designs for overall effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety.u2022 Able to perform site investigations of existing buildings / structures for addition of wireless equipment.u2022 Develop structural drawings and reinforcement details for wireless structuresu2022 Design and/or draft modifications for towers in over-stressed condition.u2022 Review requests for engineering services to determine that adequate information is provided to complete service.u2022 Provide accurate project status reporting to facilitate accurate customer reporting.u2022 Assist in the development of engineering tools and processes.u2022 Able to generate other professional engineering reports as required.u2022 Proficient with AutoCAD is a plus.u2022 Experienced with MS Office; Word, Excel & Outlook.u2022 Maintaining project timelines, effective communication with piers and management on project status.Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply.Due to the large amount of resumes we expect to receive only the most qualified candidates will be contacted.
