This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and collaboration and communication skills. Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000, depending on qualifications and experience Reimbursement of a portion of relocation expenses for a highly qualified candidate willing to relocate Key Responsibilities u25cf Lead, manage, and support the growth of an 8u201310 person staff in the engineering department u25cf Read and interpret construction documents, drawings, schematics, and designs u25cf Design and develop specifications for electrical systems on commercial and industrial projects u25cf Identify and implement engineered solutions to field challenges u25cf Promote the use of pre-fabrication and innovative electrical installation techniques u25cf Collaborate with project teams to improve installation efficiency and productivity u25cf Use tools such as AutoCAD, BIM, Revit, Microsoft Projects, Excel, Bluebeam, Procore, and/or ConEst to support project planning and execution u25cf Ensure alignment with project scope, timelines, and cost targets u25cf Maintain high standards of documentation, detail orientation, and team collaboration Minimum Requirements u25cf Bacheloru2019s degree in engineering u25cf Professional Engineering (P.E.) license u25cf Minimum 5 years of electrical engineering experience in commercial and/or industrial construction u25cf Additional experience in project management, estimating, prefabrication, or project controls is a plus u25cf Proficient in engineering software and construction management tools u25cf Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills u25cf Valid driveru2019s license and reliable transportation u25cf Must pass a pre-employment drug screen Must be willing and able to relocate and/or commute to our Spindale, NC office location Preferred Qualifications u25cf Experience managing or scaling an engineering department u25cf Hands-on knowledge of prefabrication workflows for electrical systems u25cf Familiarity with a multi-project, multi-discipline construction environment Portfolio Our engineering and project teams support some of the largest and most complex projects in the region, including: u25cf Charlotte Spectrum Center u2013 Charlotte, NC u2013 $34 million u25cf Kimpton Hotel Arras u2013 Asheville, NC u2013 $7.7 million u25cf Appalachian State University Residence Halls u2013 Boone, NC u2013 $22 million u25cf Greenville Drive Stadium u2013 Greenville, SC u2013 $3 million u25cf Ballantyne Reimagined u2013 Stream Park and The Amp u2013 Charlotte, NC u2013 $3.7 million View our portfolio: Our Four Keys to Success All employees at Fountain Services commit to: 1.
