SERVICE CARPENTERLOCATION: Metro DetroitJob DescriptionWe’re seeking dependable and experiencedCommercial Service Carpenterto join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair duties in commercial buildings. You’ll have the opportunity to work both independently and collaboratively, delivering high-quality service to our valued clients.What You’ll Do:Install, repair, and maintain doors, windows, cabinetry, and trim work.Perform glazing work, including the installation and replacement of commercial glass, storefronts, curtain walls, and aluminum frames.Complete masonry repairs such as brick/block replacement, tuckpointing, concrete patching, and mortar work.Perform basic electrical repairs (light fixtures, switches, outlets, etc.).Perform light plumbing (clearing stoppages, replacing fittings, etc.).Build and repair structures such as partitions, walls, and flooring.Perform general maintenance as required.Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local, state, and national building codes.Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.Qualifications for the Job:Holds a valid driver’s license.Experience as a carpenter, glazer, mason, or general handyman.Why Join Allied Building Service?Company vehicle, gas card and iPad provided.Competitive salary commensurate with experience.Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance.401(k) retirement savings plan with company match.Opportunities for professional development and advancement.Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
