Come, stay, and grow with us.The Small Parcel Clerk’s primary function is to retrieve stock to fill customer orders, fulfill and process orders, accept incoming/outgoing shipments, and oversee the general organization of the warehouse.Job Duties:Ensure implementation of Company safety, health and environmental programs for employees whose work is directed. Ensure that safe work practices are followed, and the environment is fully protected in accordance with Company policy and governmental regulations.Commitment to the Company’s policies, principles, and procedures and adheres to the Company’s procedures including Environmental, Health and Safety (“EH&S”), Equal Employment Opportunity Loading trailers for FedEx / UPS. Maintaining accurate inventory records Assisting with daily cycle counts of inventory.Maintains safe and clean work environment.Receives orders and retrieves goods from warehouse when necessary.Checks packing list for accuracy and inspects orders for accuracies outgoing.Picking/Packing/verifying ordersUse of scanning gunProcessing knowledge of small parcel utilizing UPS and FEDEX Ship softwarePerform other duties as assigned.Additional RequirementsAbility to operate various types of materials handling equipment including:Hand trucksPallet jacksForklifts - Stand-up/Sit-downMust be comfortable using equipment and elevating to heights ranging from 18ft to 30ftMust be flexible - OT and weekend are required as neededMust be able to read and write in English Basic math & computer skillsMust be a team player with a positive attitude and great work ethic whether they are working with others or working unsupervised.Education High school diploma or equivalent.Experience A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a warehouse environment preferred.Physical Requirements - EssentialMust be in good physical conditionMust be able to stand and/or bend for long periods of time (Varied based on daily tasks)Must be able to lift up to 50 lbsMust have good hand/eye coordination.Compensation:This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $17.00-$24.00/hour. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market, and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
