This is a hybrid role in Madison WIThe Business Intelligence (BI) Developer brings together theory and practice to identify and communicate data-driven insights that allow managers, stakeholders, and other executives in the organization to make informed decisions. The BI Developer will have an intermediate understanding of the company’s databases, business intelligence tools, and existing reports and act as a resource in internal and external meetings. A good candidate will be detail oriented, analytical, a skilled communicator, and a quick learner with experience in analytics, data modeling, or business intelligence. In addition, the BI Developer collaborates with Lumicera Sales, Account Management and Analytics & Data teams on understanding negotiated and contracted client deliverables such as reports, performance metrics or measurements.Is this you? Find out more below!How do I make an impact on my team?Use and/or collaborate with Lumicera Analytics & Data team on Qlikview, QlikSense, SQL Server Management Studio, Oracle SQL Developer, and other tools to prepare data visualizations and ad hoc reportsTranslate Lumicera contracted client deliverables into reporting application requirements for BI tool monitoring dashboards or metrics monitoring modelsIdentify inter-departmental dependencies and downstream impacts of changes within reporting applicationsCommunicate effectively and work closely with a variety of users to gather requirements, present solutions, validate effectiveness, and conduct user testingAdapt quickly to changing reporting requirements and new BI tools in a rapidly evolving, high-growth organizationFacilitate in ongoing data validation to ensure data integrity and reliabilityVerify analysis, reports or other deliverables are complete and accurateAssist users on how to extract the information from the BI toolsIdentify and provide insights into streamlining analytics processes and research improvement opportunitiesOther duties as assignedWhat our team expects from you?
