Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing invoice processes and ensuring accurate financial transactions. The ideal candidate has a strong background in accounts payable and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: u2022 Process and verify invoices to ensure accuracy and proper coding. u2022 Manage check runs and ensure timely payments to vendors. u2022 Review and analyze invoice discrepancies, addressing issues as needed. u2022 Maintain organized records of all accounts payable transactions. u2022 Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve payment inquiries. u2022 Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all financial activities. u2022 Assist in month-end closing processes related to accounts payable. u2022 Audit financial records to ensure accuracy and prevent errors. u2022 Support continuous improvement initiatives within the accounts payable function. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role. u2022 Proficiency in processing and coding invoices. u2022 Strong understanding of check runs and payment procedures. u2022 Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. u2022 Ability to analyze and resolve invoice discrepancies effectively. u2022 Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations. u2022 Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools. u2022 Strong communication skills for coordinating with vendors and internal teams.
