Implements the nursing professional development (NPD) initiatives demonstrating caring behaviors, respect, equity, inclusiveness and empathy in actions and interactions with others. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: u2022 Working knowledge of word processing, data management, email, and presentation applications. (Required) u2022 Effective professional communicator with strong interpersonal skills. (Required) u2022 Knowledge of the American Nurses Association (ANA)/Association of Nursing Professional Development (ANPD) scope and standards for Nursing Professional Development (Required) u2022 Self-directed, creative, and demonstrates initiative to fulfill the seven roles of the NPD practitioner: learning facilitator, change agent, mentor, leader, champion for inquiry, advocate for the NPD specialty and partner for practice transitions. (Preferred) u2022 Knowledge of applicable regulatory standards (e.g., CMS, OSHA) for professional specialty served.
