Sr. Financial Analyst

Description We are looking for an experienced Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This is a long-term contract position, ideal for candidates with strong attention to detail and expertise in financial analysis and modeling. The role involves supporting strategic decision-making through advanced financial techniques and tools. Responsibilities: u2022 Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to support business strategies and objectives. u2022 Create and maintain detailed financial models to project performance and assess risks. u2022 Perform variance analyses to identify trends and deviations from forecasts. u2022 Develop and execute ad hoc financial reports to address immediate business needs. u2022 Apply data mining techniques to uncover insights and support decision-making. u2022 Collaborate with teams to prepare budgets and forecasts aligned with organizational goals. u2022 Monitor and refine the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process. u2022 Provide recommendations for improving financial processes and systems. u2022 Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data in reporting and analysis. u2022 Communicate findings effectively to stakeholders through presentations and reports. Requirements u2022 Proven expertise in financial analysis and modeling. u2022 Strong proficiency in variance analysis and ad hoc reporting. u2022 Experience with data mining techniques to analyze large datasets. u2022 Demonstrated ability to manage budgeting and forecasting processes. u2022 Familiarity with the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) methodology. u2022 Advanced knowledge of financial tools and software. u2022 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. u2022 Strong communication abilities to present data-driven insights effectively.
