Title: Manufacturing Utility / Machine Operator Pay: $17+ per hour (DOE) Hours: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM Occasional mandatory Saturdays Location: Bossier City, LA 71111 Benefits Full benefits package 4% 401(k) match $150 boot allowance after 90 days No cap on raises Long-term growth and advancement opportunities Job Description A steel fabrication company in Bossier City is launching a new manufacturing department and is seeking a reliable, motivated Manufacturing Utility / Machine Operator to join the team. For the first several months, this role will support the installation and startup of new machinery, performing general labor and cleanup to help prepare the department for production. Once installation is complete, this position will transition into a Machine Operator role supporting normal manufacturing processes. This is a great opportunity for someone with machine operation skills who is willing to roll up their sleeves during the startup phase and grow into a long-term manufacturing role. Key Responsibilities Perform general labor and cleanup during machinery installation and department startup Sweep, clean, and remove debris to maintain a safe work environment Lift, move, and handle materials weighing 50+ lbs consistently Assist installation and production teams as needed Transition into operating manufacturing equipment once production begins Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Previous machine operator or manufacturing experience preferred Willingness to perform physically demanding general labor Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly Strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset Reliable attendance and punctuality Comfortable working in an industrial environment Why This Role?
