Employment Type: Full time Shift: 12 Hour Night Shift Description: The Inpatient Surgery Department at Saint Maryu2019s Hospital is a 23-bed unit specializing in the pre- and post-operative care of patients undergoing a wide range of surgical procedures. These include, but are not limited to, bariatric, orthopedic, ortho-trauma, neuro-spine, mastectomy, urological, gynecological, and gastrointestinal surgeries. Your Role As a valued member of our multidisciplinary team, you will: + Deliver direct, hands-on care to patients with complex surgical needs. + Develop and implement individualized care plans focused on promoting recovery and restoring patients to their pre-surgical level of wellness. + Provide exceptional care and support for patients requiring overnight or extended post-operative stays. Minimum Qualifications + Education: Associateu2019s degree in nursing from an accredited program required; BSN preferred. + Licensure: Current and valid Connecticut RN license. + Experience: Minimum of 1 year in an acute inpatient setting. + Certifications: BLS or CPR certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross. Work Schedule : Part-time, 24 hours, Nights + 12-hour shifts- 7p to 7:30a + Schedule Weekend & Holidays are required.
