Position Overview The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for improving all aspects of inventory control and accuracy within warehouse operations. This role will report into the Director, Warehouse Operations. Key Job Responsibilities Inventory Management u2022 Organize and maintain accurate inventory, reconciling inventory discrepancies. u2022 Perform periodic cycle counts of non-barcoded assets to maintain inventory integrity. u2022 Identify stagnant inventory and determine a course of action to mitigate. u2022 Establish systems, procedures, and controls to assure the accuracy of inventory within the system. Physical Inventory u2022 Responsible for the preparation, execution, and reconciliation of the annual physical inventory. u2022 Work directly with Inventory Control Personnel to ensure an accurate and timely process. u2022 Research and Correct discrepancies. Company Support u2022 Work closely with the Warehouse Team and Inventory Control. u2022 Provide outstanding customer service to all internal customers and peers. u2022 Establish and maintain strong working relationships with the various departments and team members. u2022 Respond promptly to customer needs. u2022 Project a positive image of department to internal and external contacts. Reporting u2022 Develop, Create, Analyze and Distribute regular inventory management reports. u2022 Reporting includes, but is not limited to, inventory aging/turns, inventory record accuracy, PI reporting, other KPIu2019s, etc. Job Qualifications u2022 5+ years of previous warehouse/inventory experience. u2022 Minimum one (1) year experience with data entry, with a demonstrated high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. u2022 Ability to drive value to the organization. u2022 Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external clients. u2022 Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer-service skills. u2022 Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, high-volume environment while being able to think creatively and effectively solve problems. u2022 Demonstrated ability to lead diverse groups of people. u2022 High degree of commitment to service excellence. u2022 Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office Applications, with an emphasis on Excel. Work Environment Work Environment Warehouse Work is performed at event venues as well as in a warehouse environment. Team members must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by Encore based in a warehouse environment and when traveling, on an individual venue or a representation of venues in that city or area. When in the Warehouse, work will be completed in an environment with exposure to outdoor temperatures and to dirt, sand, and/or dust. The working conditions will vary between moderately quiet to noisy volumes. Team members may use high-end audio-visual equipment and electrical components. Working times may include irregular hours and on-call status including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Team members must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by Encore based on an individual hotel or a representation of hotels in that city or area. Work is performed at event venues as well as in a warehouse environment or hotel location. Hourly Pay Range: $22.90 - $29.77 The compensation offered for this role is determined based on the qualifications outlined in the job posting for the specified location. Final compensation is based on a number of factors including location, travel, relevant work experience, or particular skills and expertise. In addition, some positions may be eligible for other compensation such as potential overtime, bonuses or incentives.
