By collaborating closely with our global R&D, equipment and materials suppliers, and manufacturing teams, we ensure the efficient development, transfer and implementation of new technology nodes, maintaining Micron’s leadership in the industry. As a Principal RDA and Metrology Engineer in APTD, you will be primarily responsible for creating, developing, and optimizing Assembly Stacking, wafer level packaging, defect detection, and metrology methods to develop next generation products. Successful candidates will exhibit strong logic and analytical problem-solving thought processes, approaching them with a ' How can I resolve this today? ' mindset. We are seeking someone who can efficiently organize multifunctional teams to complete projects and solve an array of problems, coordinate meetings, and initiate follow-up actions with a ' How will I make a difference today?' approach. Responsibilities: + Identify, diagnose, and resolve defect and metrology-related problems by applying failure analysis, FMEA, 8D or SPC/FDC methodology + Drive product quality, yield improvements, cost reduction, productivity, and risk management as well as resolve manufacturing line problems + Coordinate and carry out sensitivity and gauge evaluation/optimization to implement changes at process step + Lead and participate in yield improvement and cost optimization activities + Manage, audit, and collaborate with equipment suppliers to achieve quality, cost, and risk mitigation objectives + Supervise the health of your assigned modules ensuring high-quality output while collaborating with the Technology Development team to meet Micron’s technology roadmap Required Skills: + BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, E To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
